4/5/13 Peace comes with Trust

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.  (Romans 15:13) 

You will keep in perfect peace
    those whose minds are steadfast,
    because they trust in you. (Isaiah 26:3) 

Thoughts: When we trust in something or someone we sleep better and rest more securely. This is especially true when we trust our lives into God's hands.  To truly trust Him- putting our faith in Him, we are not consumed with worry- but lay down and sleep.  Peace comes with trust.  On the other hand when we do not trust, it ruins peace.  So the North Koreans do not trust anyone and are continually preparing for war.  So some do not trust others and have a hard time relaxing.  Trust in God brings peace with Him, with others, and within ourselves. 

Prayer: Help me to have your peace, O Lord.
