Thoughts: there are many things we may resolve to seek this new year. But Christ says that there are many other things we can seek, but only one will have eternal benefits. Beauty, intelligence and education, athletic or physical health only last so long and will eventually fade. But our soul lasts. If we nourish our soul by seeking God, we will have peace.
We seek Him fist by making time for Him. Make worship and devotional time a priority in 2016. Serve Him by serving others and having fellowship with His people.
Prayer: make it easy for me to seek you, and find you, Lord.
