4/29/14- The Invisible Church

Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows who are his" and ""Everyone who confesses the Name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." (2 Timothy 2:19)

Thoughts: The church is seen in that it has buildings, budgets, memberships.  But there is a sense in which God alone knows who are His.  God alone looks at the heart.  We can fool other people about whether we believe or not, but we cannot fool God.

Prayer: Lord, you see all things, including my heart.  Search me, O Lord, and know my heart- may it be truly and fully yours.
