1Do not rebuke an older man harshly, but exhort him as if he were your father. Treat younger men as brothers, 2older women as mothers, and younger women as sisters, with absolute purity. (1 Timothy 5)
Thoughts: How are you supposed to treat people? Have you ever seen an adult child letting their older adult father have it for forgetting so much? Have you seen people treat each other coldly and suspiciously. This says to treat people as family- with warmth and grace. Older men may irritate us, but we are to treat them as our own father.
Prayer: Help me to treat others with kindness and as family. You treat me, Lord, far better than I deserve.
