Gathers His People: Generation to Generation

16Look in the scroll of the Lord and read:

None of these will be missing,

not one will lack her mate.

For it is his mouth that has given the order,

and his Spirit will gather them together.

17He allots their portions;

his hand distributes them by measure.

They will possess it forever

and dwell there from generation to generation. (Isaiah 34:16, 17) 

Thoughts: God promises hope here.  He will be there from generation to generation. God keeps His promises about a place and His provision.  God provides and we can trust Him from generation to generation.  God gathers His people.  The people who say that the church is dying or dead are always underestimating God and His Spirit.  His Spirit gathers His people.  

Prayer: Lord, thank you that you gather us and bring us together.  You give hope to every generation- for you are forever relevant and forever alive.
