Thanks forever!

6Your sons will take the place of your fathers;

you will make them princes throughout the land.

17I will perpetuate your memory through all generations;

therefore the nations will praise you for ever and ever. (Psalm 45:16,17) 

Thoughts: Thanksgiving is to be passed on.  The sons are to take the place of the fathers who used to give thanks to the Lord.  They take up the song.  We are called to perpetuate his memory in every generation.  The nations are called to praise Him forever.  All people- all time- all classes of people are called to give thanks and praise Him.  He is worthy of both- He made all that we see and gives us hope and meaning.  

Prayer: Lord, may thanksgiving not stop with me.  May all people in every time and place and cirmustance praise you.
