Giving Proof

Acts 1:3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. 

Thoughts: Jesus wants us to listen and believe.  He did not have to present Himself to them.  But He did.  He presented Himself and tried to convince them because so much depends on their faith.  If they were not convinced, we would not be here today.  He wants us too to know that He is alive.  Jesus didn't just appear one day, but 40.  It is enough for them to put faith in them. 

Prayer: Holy Spirit, convince me.  Help me to listen and believe.
