20We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
Thoughts: An ambassador represents his government while in another country. Ambassadors are not citizens of the country they are in- the country they are in is not their true home. As an ambassador speaks on behalf of his/her ruler, so we speak on behalf of God. We are asking others to make peace with God. We are asking them to be friends with God.
Prayer: Lord, help me to be a good ambassador for you.
