Hope Brings Boldness

12Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. (2 Corinthians 3:12)

Thoughts: Hope makes us bold.  It encourages us to do things beyond what we would normally do.  So the swimmer who can see the finish line swims extra hard; he marathoner has a kick when the finish line is in sight.  A researcher who has found a cure is anxious to share that hope.
Paul is saying that because he has eternal hope- the most important hope that anyone can have- he is bold in sharing his faith with others.  We too can have boldness.  We want others to have the hope we have.

Prayer: Lord, help me to remember my hope and share that hope with others.
