For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Thoughts: The Bible is both inclusive and exclusive. It is inclusive for all people. Anyone can come- God invites all to come. "Whosoever" is welcome. It does not matter what you look like, where you are from, what your status or economic situation is. Anyone is welcome.
But welcome to do what? Not to do whatever we wish. Not to do the opposite of God's will. In the end, God is God- not us. Anyone is welcome through the door- and more than that- they are invited to come. God does not wish that anyone would perish. But we are invited to listen to follow- not to go our own way. We exclude ourselves from God's house, when we rebel against the God of the house- without ever mending our ways.
Prayer: Lord, if all are invited to experience you, the Risen Christ, help me to spread the news everywhere.
