Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in the Bible and focuses on the Bible. It is important that we trust in what is solid and reliable. Just believing is not enough, it is important to put our trust in what is reliable and has been found trustworthy. The Bible has been proven a trustworthy place through the centuries. Peace can be obtained through the elimination of stress by knowing your foundation will be there through the storms of life. The Bible is like a bullet proof vest that gives us peace when the bullets of life come flying at us. It brings "great peace."
Prayer: Lord, when we are not in peaceful situations, may we find peace in your solid rock- your Word.
