The unfolding of your words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple. (Ps. 119:130)
Thoughts: When the lights go out, even a tiny light helps us find our way. God's Word helps us find our way through life. God reveals God- the reality behind it all. but God all shows us the way we should go, and gives us perspectives in the dark valleys of our life. If you ever sat waiting for the sun to rise, you know that it is a gradual enlightening. The more we wait on it, the more light appears. Sometimes God's Word lights up like a flashlight turned on, or a match lit. But often God's Word enlightens us with clarity and perspective gradually.
Prayer: Help me, Lord to walk in the light of your Word.
